Child:  Where’s Miss Cathy?
Miss Brenda:  She doesn’t teach this afternoon.  She’s at home.
Child:  With her kids?  What are their names?
Miss Brenda:  She has one son named Jared.
Child  Only one?  Are you sure? 

Child 1:  How old are you?
Child 2:  I’m five.  How old are you?
Child 1:  I’m four, but I’ll be 20 next year.

Child:  Remember when I was a little girl and you were at my school?  I used to love you.
Miss Cathy:  How about now that you’re not little anymore?
Child:  I still love you! 

After singing “Wake Up You Sleepy Heads”—

Child:  What are we waking up?
Miss Cathy:  I think we’re waking up the cattle.  Do you know what cattle means?
Child:  Sure!  It’s a kind of sleeping bag! 

Child:  You know what I want to be when I grow up?  A Red Sock!
